BRANDING PORTFOLIO

Dallas AIA Home Tour

This year, I am in charge of branding the Dallas AIA Tour of Homes. The initial brand is basically the poster design. The package will include a series of spreads in Columns Magazine about the various homes chosen for the tour, which will incorporate this brand as much as possible.

The project is just getting started, so I will continue to post updated photos as it progresses.

VELVET Chocolate

This project was a lot of fun - who wouldn't want to create a brand for an organic

gourmet chocolate company?  I wanted the brand to appeal to all five senses.  The five bars within the logo represent the five different senses: sight, smell, touch, hearing, and, of course, taste. The project included the design of a logo, business card, letterhead, envelope, and packaging.

USGBC Green Gala

The US Green Building Council North Texas Chapter recruited me to help brand their Green Gala and Awards event. This is the organization's biggest fundraising event of the year. The membes of the board wanted a design that was high-end and classy.  My Design: Modern Elegance.

The graphics package included a Save the Date, Invitation, Program, Sponsorship Flyer, Volunteer Flyer, Website Announcements, Pre- and Post- Gala Bisnow Ads, Social Media Banners, Event Signage, and other informational pieces.

The color scheme was incorporated throughout the event, from the table settings to the powerpoint presentations.

Personal Branding

My pesonal branding project was completed a few years ago and I've continued to use it for my freelance endeavors.  The iconic symbol represents two "L"s that form a blooming flower.

Other Logos

The first project is for a friend's bakery in Houston, called Sweetery (go check it out!) It is used as a decal on the storefront of the bakery and printed on hats for employees. It might get printed on aprons a little later on. We are currently in the process of creating a pattern that could be printed on tissue paper for packaging of orders. There is also talk of designing the menu!

The second project is a logo for the Women's Ministry at a church in Sherman, TX. It was printed on small tote bags and journals for women to take with them to conferences.

The last logo is something I designed for the Texas Horse Park (currently in construction in Dallas.) I designed this while employeed with BRW Architects. I am unsure if the City will use my design, but I really liked it so I wanted to share.
